Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS)
Curriculum
POCUS Learning Highlights
- Longitudinal, competency-based POCUS curriculum integrated into clinical training, covering core and advanced applications.
- Access to four on-site ultrasound machines and multiple handheld devices for bedside use.
- Credentialing pathway available to achieve POCUS credentialing during fellowship.
- Multi-disciplinary faculty with regular contributions from nationally recognized guest lecturers.
- Hands-on practice using POCUS and echocardiography simulators, as well as procedural training models.
- Monthly image review sessions with our QA team to ensure high standards in image acquisition and interpretation.
Fellows have access to active research and grant opportunities, and have successfully presented their work at national and international conferences.
