Fellows must complete an ACGME-approved general surgery residency program. Applicants must be U.S Citizens or green card recipients. We are not able to accept Visa holders for this position.

A complete application must include the following items:

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal Statement or Letter of Intent (LOI)
  • Three (3) Letters of Recommendation. (Including Residency Program Director and/or Department Chair.)
    • Letters can be sent directly to Dr. Varun Jain instead of being part of the application packet. However, an application will not be considered complete until receipt of a minimum of three recommendations.
  • ABSITE Scores for 5 years of general surgery residency training.
  • Current cumulative case logs by defined category from ACGME.

Review Process

Completed applications will be reviewed immediately and virtual interviews will be coordinated. 

Interviews will continue until the position is filled.
