In any career, growth doesn鈥檛 always follow a straight line. That鈥檚 exactly the idea behind Beyond the Ladder, a new professional development series launching this month for staff in the UK X站福利所.
Beyond the Ladder is a monthly lunch and learn series designed to foster connection, spark inspiration, and support the varied career journeys of staff members across the college. It was created by the college鈥檚 Staff Well-Being Committee, in partnership with the Office of Organizational Well-Being.
Each month, featured speakers will share their unique, nontraditional journeys, highlighting the twists, pivots, and unexpected opportunities that shaped their careers. Whether you鈥檙e just starting or looking to grow in new directions, these candid conversations will offer inspiration, insight, and practical advice to help you forge your own path beyond the traditional career ladder.
The first Beyond the Ladder session will feature a talk by Carrie Hobbs, MSN, RN, CCRP, a clinical research manager in the department of pediatrics.
