These accolades reflect the high standards of storytelling, strategy, and impact set by the nation鈥檚 leading communications professionals. They affirm that the work being done at the UK X站福利所 not only uplifts the voices of our learners, faculty, and staff but also meets the rigorous criteria for excellence on a national stage.

鈥淭he purpose of these projects was to show the heart behind our mission 鈥 what motivates us, what unites us, and why we do the work we do,鈥 said Lauren Greathouse, assistant dean for communications and strategy.

That ethos served as the foundation for 鈥淏ecause We Care,鈥 a four-part docuseries produced by the Office of Strategic Communications. The series examines the X站福利所鈥檚 evolution from its founding in the late 1950s to its current position as a national leader in medical education, research, and health care innovation. Featuring perspectives from faculty, students, and staff, the docuseries goes beyond statistics and milestones to highlight the people driving progress.

鈥淥ur Care in Action: A Year in the Life鈥 is an innovative storytelling project and annual report produced by the same team. The initiative followed 14 individuals from across the college, including medical students, trainees, staff, administrators, and faculty, for a full year. The result was a narrative that鈥檚 both intimate and expansive, serving as a reminder that behind every research breakthrough, clinical milestone, or academic achievement is a network of people working with purpose and compassion.
