Trainee of the Month - August 2025
Alexis Lumm, DO
Psychiatry resident, Dr. Alexis Lumm, stood out this summer for her exceptional leadership during a demanding, high-acuity rotation. As the first supervisory resident for incoming interns, she maintained a full census with grace by offering calm, confident support to new team members while engaging thoughtfully with patients, families, and nursing staff.
Her clinical skill, quick thinking, and steady presence earned praise from colleagues across disciplines. One co-resident shared, 鈥淟exi was incredibly helpful and patient with all of us, interns and medical students alike. I鈥檓 so excited to work with her throughout residency.鈥
